Rose Buds

Wow, I didn't know that this day would come so soon.  It leaves a lump in my throat to think of how to say goodbye to so many wonderful memories......Scrabble and Mahjong, Bible Study, art classes, just hanging out with friends, furniture painting, vaccuuming......ok, just kidding, I hate vaccuuming the whole store.  Closing our store will be bittersweet.  Thankfully, we have wonderful lives and families and friends to enjoy even when we are no longer at Rose Buds.  But Rose Buds made things easier.  It was nice to have people stop in.  It was nice to get to meet new people with very little effort.  But life is always constantly changing.  It has ups and downs, mountains and pits.  But life is good, even when it's painful.  Living is the process of walking through all of these different experiences and growing into people who honor the One who created us in the first place. 

So, today my heart is aching.  But, my heart is not empty.  I am not without hope.  I am not without people to love and be loved by.  I am blessed.  You have been a part of that blessing in my life and I want to say thank you for being willing to come along side this last couple of years.  It has been a great trip........love you much.  I'll write more when I'm not feeling quite so somber.
